Golf Trip To Vegas - Warm Up At The Callaway Golf Center

By Brian Weis

When planning a golf trip to Las Vegas consider warming up at the Callaway Golf Center. Located just minutes from McCarran International Airport, the driving range and par three course is an ideal place to loosen up or fine tune your game before tackling the many tour calibre courses Vegas has to offer.

The Course

"The Divine Nine," is a championship par 3, nine-hole course that will test your short game play. Standing on the tee boxes, you won't be intimidated by the distance with holes ranging from 110 to 185 yards. Precision, however, is needed to avoid the sand bunkers, fairway lined mounding and the various ponds. GPS equipped carts and colored marked flags will help you with club selection.

Arriving in town late? No problem, the course can be played under the lights. The course is generally lit for a few hours after dark. For example, in summer the course is open until 11:00. If you plan on golfing at night, bring your camera for some amazing shots of the strip.
